Pentaport comes back to Songdo, Khruangbin in tow
Three days from July 31, at Songdo Moonlight Festival Park. The headliner is Khruangbin.
The name that signals summer's rock-festival season is winding down — Pentaport — is coming back to Songdo. Every year there's someone who spends the whole turn from July into August right here, all three days.

Who's playing
This year's headliner is Khruangbin, a trio out of Texas. Picture that unhurried, coiling sound of bass and guitar on a summer-night lawn, and you already feel a little cooler.
Start by letting their signature track 'Time (You and I)' play in the background. The stage opens up so much wider.
The first lineup announcement brought in Silica Gel, Thornapple, Baek Hyun-jin, Jang Pil-soon, Kwon Jin-ah, Broken Valentine, and The Volunteers. From abroad came The Lemon Twigs and never young beach. Names whose tastes run this far apart, all sharing one lawn — that's the old joy of Pentaport.
Getting tickets
- Starting this year, the 2-day pass is gone. Only 1-day and 3-day passes are on sale.
- The early-bird 3-day pass is 204,000 won (15% off). Pay with a KB Kookmin Card and it's 192,000 won (20% off).

What to pack
Gates open at 1 p.m. and the music starts at 2 p.m. Midsummer Songdo gets plenty of sun, so pack water, a hat, and a change of clothes ahead of time. Before and after the festival, the Pentaport Live Club Party runs at live clubs around Incheon (July 10–26, 12 acts). If you want to warm up before the main stage, you could start there.
