This is the eleventh edition. It's hosted and organised by Jeonju MBC, with the province and the city as supporters.
Why there are three stages
Two main stages, MARU and NEOUL, stand side by side on the outdoor turf ground, and a third, SOOM, stands separately in the indoor gymnasium.
Placing two mains side by side is a common rock-festival method. When one set ends the next begins right next to it, so you can watch straight through without moving. In exchange the times have to be staggered so the two stages never sound at once.
A separate indoor stage is a practical choice for an August outdoor festival. It becomes the place to escape the midday heat and a passing shower.
The three days
Friday the 14th has 10CM, Peppertones, FLOW, Romantic Punch, SHAUN and QWER.
Saturday the 15th is Liberation Day. Jaurim, NELL, Guckkasten, Black Hole and Ridoor take the stage.
Sunday the 16th has YB, Kim Kwang Jin, Sable Hills, IDIOTAPE, Knosis and Nerd Connection.
The three days differ slightly in colour. If the first leans band and indie-pop, the second gathers long-running rock bands, and the last mixes instrumental-centred acts with overseas ones.

Regular online sales close at 11:59 tonight. After that you can only buy at the on-site box office, at 120,000 won for a 1-day, 174,000 for a 2-day and 228,000 for a 3-day.
Gates open at 1 p.m. daily and the running time is 660 minutes. Eleven hours, so plan water and shade first.
An artificial turf ground holds more heat than bare earth. Thicker soles beat thin ones, and a thick mat beats a thin one.
