Changing the sign and moving the team — OH MY GIRL to DSP Media
Announced yesterday. What changes is the operator, not the agency.

What was announced yesterday
| Item | Detail |
|---|---|
| Announced | August 11, RBW label restructuring |
| Subject | OH MY GIRL |
| Before | WM Entertainment |
| After | DSP Media (RBW consolidated subsidiary) |
| WM | Merged with 257 Entertainment, renamed StrangeLab |
| Stated reason | Strengthening each label's colour and expertise (RBW) |
DSP Media said it would "take charge of overall operations including planning, production and management" and support both group and individual activity.
The agency didn't change
One distinction first. This isn't the members moving agencies; it's the entity running the group changing.
Their agencies are already split. In May 2025 Hyojung, Mimi, Seunghee and Yubin re-signed with WM Entertainment, while YooA and Arin ended their individual contracts and went to different companies. Group activity was to continue together regardless.
So this transfer isn't about "where the six belong" but about "who plans the board when the six gather". The individual contracts stay as they are and only the operating window moves.
The side whose name disappears
In the same announcement WM Entertainment merged with 257 Entertainment and became StrangeLab. The name that had run OH MY GIRL since 2015 came down from the sign.
StrangeLab will handle management for XLOV and LU and pursue new strategic business combining music, video and artist IP with IT.
Company names change often. It reads a little differently when the name had been attached to one group for a long time, though. To fans the company name was the marker of that period.
What's left on the schedule
A full-group comeback has been pushed to the first half of 2027. It was originally the first half of 2026; a June notice cited a longer album production process.
The second half goes to member solos instead. Mimi is first, with her first solo single 'Bish Bash Bosh' out at 6 p.m. on August 20. The agency said she took part in producing the whole record and in the writing and composing.
That the first output after the operator changed is a solo rather than the group is worth noting. What the restructuring actually changed will only be checkable in 2027.
That's the last of the numbers. Now, the music.
