The current line-up is three — G-DRAGON, Taeyang and Daesung. As a domestic headline show it is their first since Gocheok Sky Dome in January 2017.

The first city isn't Seoul, it's Goyang

The tour starts at Goyang Stadium and runs on to Auckland, East Rutherford, Paris, London, Taipei, Singapore, Hanoi, Sydney, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Osaka, Nagoya, Tokyo, Fukuoka, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Kaohsiung.

Opening at home is a common choice on a schedule that runs on to North America, Europe, Oceania and Asia. You run the staging and the routing once in front of a real audience before you move.

Goyang Stadium isn't an indoor hall, though — it's an outdoor athletics stadium. On a schedule where indoor arenas follow, only the first stand has a different character. The largest board is placed at the very front.

Twenty-two minutes and 210,000

General sales sold all three nights out in 22 minutes. On the day, some 210,000 people were reported to have hit Coupang Play at once, causing a crush.

Returns and additional seats — floor, second and third tiers — were released afterward. At an outdoor stadium, seats with confirmed sightlines sometimes appear late, once the stage structure is fixed.

By the numbers, nine years didn't shrink demand. But a sell-out speaks to the size of demand, not to what the stage was like.

Before you go

Goyang Stadium is outdoors. Late-August evenings take the edge off the heat, but rain lands on you. Bring a poncho and leave the umbrella — umbrellas block the view behind you in both standing and seated areas.

Across three consecutive nights the setlist sometimes shifts by the last one. Whether to read someone's account first or go in knowing nothing is a matter of taste.
