The concert comes before the album

'IM HERO 10' arrives on September 8. Yet the stages for all ten of its songs are unveiled first at this run, starting today and lasting three nights.

Usually the recording comes first and the concert follows. Singing songs the audience already knows is what a concert is built on.

This time the order is reversed. The audience hears ten songs they have never heard, live, before any recording exists. The album that arrives four days later becomes the place where that memory gets confirmed.

What the ten songs are

The album is six new songs and four remakes. The new ones are 'Moise', 'New York', 'Baila', 'ToTo', 'May You Be Happy' and 'To Us Who Have Lived'.

The four remakes are his own earlier releases: 'Love Always Runs Away', 'Grain of Sand', 'A bientôt' and 'I Hate You'. 'I Hate You' is the digital single he debuted with on August 8, 2016.

For an album named as a tenth-anniversary special, the shape fits — new songs alongside a re-recording of the very first one. The starting point sits inside the album.

A post office for letters

Outside the venue there is an 'IM HERO Post Office' where letters addressed to Lim Young-woong are delivered to him. There is also a commemorative stamp booth and photo zones, and a pre-show event begins forty minutes before the main set.

The post office suits the direction of the concert. Something travels from the seats to the stage, not only the other way.

Goyang Stadium's main ground is outdoors. Early-September evenings swing between day and night temperatures, so bring a layer.
