'2026 CNBLUE LIVE 3LOGY ENCORE' ran for two nights, 12 and 13 September, at BEXCO Auditorium in Busan, and with that an eight-month tour closed.

It Started in Seoul on 17 January

The tour began in Seoul on 17 and 18 January. From there it went to Macau, Taipei, Melbourne, Sydney, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Yokohama, Kobe, Hong Kong, Bangkok and Kaohsiung, passed through Berlin, Paris, London and The Hague, then Tokyo in August and Busan in September. By the agency's and the press's count, twenty cities.

The line-up now is three: Jung Yong-hwa (leader, main vocals, guitar), Kang Min-hyuk (drums) and Lee Jung-shin (bass).

The set opened with 'Ready, Set, Go!', the first track of the third studio album, passed through the title track 'Killer Joy', and carried on into '직감', 'I'm Sorry' and '외톨이야'.

'Killer Joy' Empties 0.75 Seconds

We measured the song at the centre of this tour. The tempo is about 134BPM.

The first six and a half seconds give the low end only 5.5% of the total energy, while 4–14kHz takes 41%. It starts with no bass and no kick, only bright bands spread wide. Then at 6.4 seconds the sound drops to −24dB and takes half a beat's breath.

At 7.05 the whole band arrives at once. Within 0.1 seconds it goes from −19.2dB to −6.8dB, and the low-end share jumps from 5% to 24%. It is the single biggest leap in the song. At the same moment the wide stereo image narrows sharply — the sound has gathered into the centre.

And then 1:03.6. For 0.75 seconds the low end goes completely to zero. The stereo width narrows to 0.35, and across those 0.75 seconds 800–4,000Hz accounts for 72% of everything. One line down the middle is all that's left. At 1:04.40 the band returns together.

At 2:14.9 the cut is shorter and sharper: 0.55 seconds falling to −42.7dB before it hits again at 2:15.5. From 2:28 the low end switches on and off in a stop-and-go pattern.

The label's own copy calls this song "pop-rock with a striking dynamic arc", and having measured it, that wasn't just marketing. It really does switch off and on.

February Next Year, KSPO DOME

At the end of the Busan show, a solo concert at KSPO DOME in Seoul on 20–21 February 2027 was revealed on the screens. Going by when it was reported, the announcement came on the first night, the 12th.

The members' words remain. "It's an enormous challenge and I feel a mix of things, including fear. Now all that's in our heads is making the DOME a success. I hope you'll watch us take our first step into that dream after seventeen years." "I wanted to show you, and prove, that the fire is still there."

Jung Yong-hwa put it this way: "I agonised over whether we could do it." "If you don't knock, how is the door going to open?" "We've been at this seventeen years, singing about dreams and talking about goals the whole time."

CNBLUE's largest Seoul headline venue to date has been Jamsil Arena, where they played 'BLUE MOON' in 2013 and returned several times after.

Before You Go Listen

'Killer Joy' runs three minutes. Use earphones, and turn it up a little more than usual. That 0.75 seconds at 1:03.6 is hard to catch on a speaker — the sound doesn't disappear so much as collapse to the centre, so you need left and right separated to notice.

And there's some time until February. Enough to practise the chant.
