KickFlip's 5th mini album arrives October 6, led by 'Puzzle Piece'

The schedule JYP Entertainment put in the teaser description is a single line: the fifth mini album 'KICK OFF THE WALL Pt. 1,' October 6, 2026, 6 p.m. KST. The title says 'Pt. 1,' but no date for the next part has been announced yet.

The previous mini album, 'My First Kick,' came out on April 6, so this is exactly six months later. And today marks exactly one year since their third mini album, 'My First Flip' (September 22, 2025).

The seven members who debuted on January 20, 2025 with 'Flip it, Kick it!' (Kyehoon, Amaru, Donghwa, Juwang, Minje, Keiju and Donghyeon) release their fifth mini album a little over one year and eight months after debut.

How the teasers are rolling out

What you can hear in the 42-second preview

The preview is packed with sound from the very first moment. There's no quiet intro; it drops you straight into the middle of the song.

The loudest point is at 16.5 seconds. Then at 17.5 seconds the low end thickens once more: the share of sound below 150 Hz jumps from 8% to 18% in just 0.25 seconds, more than double. Hz (hertz) is how many times the air vibrates per second, and below 150 Hz is the low range where bass and kick drum live.

From 22 seconds, for 10 seconds, the loudness moves within just 1.84 dB. dB (decibels) is the unit of loudness, and a 1 dB difference is barely noticeable, so those 10 seconds push forward almost as one solid block.

Then at 37 seconds the sound cuts off, and five seconds of silence follow. The rest arrives on October 6.
