Lee Seung Chul's 40th-anniversary duets begin with a song WOODZ wrote

• The first partner in Lee Seung Chul's debut 40th-anniversary tribute duet project is WOODZ.
• The pre-release song 'OUR STORY' is one WOODZ helped write, lyrics and music, and it comes out at 6 p.m. on September 30.

The project is called '40TH ANNIVERSARY TRIBUTE DUET X LEE SEUNG CHUL'

Lee Seung Chul's agency LSC announced the project on September 21 by posting concept photos of the two on its official social media. It's a project of duets with younger artists, and 'OUR STORY' with WOODZ is the first song. The next partner hasn't been announced yet.

According to the agency, WOODZ made this song personally to express respect for Lee Seung Chul's 40 years in music.

Lee Seung Chul also has a national tour, 'THE VOICE : LEE SEUNG CHUL,' starting November 14 in Gwangju. It continues through Daejeon, Daegu, Incheon and Busan, all the way to KSPO DOME at Olympic Park in Seoul.

The two teasers share the same 10 seconds

There are two teasers. One shows Lee Seung Chul sitting in a car in the city at night; the other shows WOODZ in the same car on the same night.

When I laid the sound of the two videos over each other, they matched 95%. The pictures are different, but the 10 seconds you hear are the same sound.

Those 10 seconds flow very dark and very even. The high end, where cymbal hiss and breath live (6,000 to 11,000 Hz), is only about 5% of the sound, and the loudness moves within a 4 dB window for all 10 seconds. Hz (hertz) is how many times the air vibrates per second, and dB (decibels) is the unit of loudness; a 1 dB difference is barely noticeable. This is the sound the press described as a "calm, sweet guitar riff."
