Two nights this weekend

  • Sat, September 26 and Sun, September 27
  • Olympic Hall, Olympic Park, Seoul
  • Show title: Memory

According to the agency, it sold out as soon as reservations opened on NOL Ticket on August 28, making it two sold-out years in a row after 'FEATHERS' at YES24 Live Hall last December. Bassist Park Se-woong enlists on the 28th, so the agency says these two nights are the band's last full concert before the bassist's enlistment.

Four people

Lee Deung-dae (vocals), Choi Seung-hyeon (guitar, vocals), Park Se-woong (bass) and Joo Sang-wook (drums). They debuted in January 2021 with 'Yeongwoneun Geureotdeut (영원은 그렇듯).' Lee Deung-dae wrote the lyrics and music for all six songs on the new EP, and the first track, 'Beoreut (버릇),' was made with GroovyRoom. Harim also took part in the arrangements, and dancer Choi Ho-jong appears in the 'Ageha' music video.

'Ageha' opens up at 39 seconds

Play the music video for the title track 'Ageha,' and for the first 38 seconds the sound is muffled, as if heard through a wall. There's almost no high end, no cymbals, no breath. Then at 39 seconds, in an instant, the sound opens up and the whole band comes in.

The end of the music video has a part that isn't on the audio track. At 3:30 the sound stops completely for 4.5 seconds, then comes back around 3:35 and runs a few seconds more. The audio track is 3:19; the music video is 3:46.

With or without a ticket

My bag's already packed. If you've got a ticket, listen at the venue for that moment when the sound, closed for 38 seconds, opens up at 39. If you don't, spend the weekend with the EP in order, from track 1, 'Beoreut,' to track 6, 'Jageun Segye (작은세계).' Six songs, 22 minutes 55 seconds.
