BOYNEXTDOOR's repackage 'HOME: DELUXE' arrives on the 28th, with ZICO on title track 'ANIMAL'

In three lines

• 'HOME: DELUXE,' the repackage of BOYNEXTDOOR's first full-length album, comes out at 6 p.m. on September 28.
• The new title track is 'ANIMAL.' ZICO, the head producer of their agency KOZ Entertainment, took part in making it.
• A 29-second music video teaser came out two days ago (the 24th).

14 songs

It repackages 'HOME,' their first full-length album released June 8. It adds two new songs, 'ANIMAL' and 'CLICHE,' two previously released songs and one fan song to the nine songs of 'HOME,' for 14 in all.

'ANIMAL' was introduced as a song about constantly surpassing yourself and heading toward a better tomorrow. Pop Time and kako produced it, and it's said to be BOYNEXTDOOR's first try at electro funk. The other new song, 'CLICHE,' compares falling in love without realizing it to a cliché, a story you've heard a hundred times.

There are six of them: Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan and Woonhak. The music video teaser was directed by Soonsik Yang of YSS STUDIO.

That's the last of the numbers. Now, the music.

What you can hear in the 29-second teaser

The teaser is 29 seconds long. At 15.5 seconds the low end comes in all at once: the share of sound below 150 Hz jumps from 1% to 39% in 0.25 seconds. Hz (hertz) is how many times the air vibrates per second, and below 150 Hz is where the bass and kick drum live.

Then at 23.5 seconds the sound stops completely for 1.5 seconds, rings once more briefly at 25 seconds, and ends. You can hear the rest of the song at 6 p.m. on Monday the 28th.
