1. September's 'M COUNTDOWN PICK': the song is BESTie's 'Love Options', the stage is EVAN's 'Death of Me'
The September results of the 'Monthly M COUNTDOWN PICK', which Mnet chooses once a month, were revealed on yesterday's broadcast. The song category went to BESTie's 'Love Options (연애의 조건)', released on October 17, 2013. Mnet explained that a video setting this song to Hearts2Hearts' dance went viral this summer and spread into a challenge, bringing the song back onto the music charts after 13 years. It was also at No. 94 on the Bugs weekly chart for the last full week of September. The stage category went to EVAN's 'Death of Me', the weekly M COUNTDOWN PICK stage for the second week of September. Each month's chosen stage gets a chance to compete for a trophy at the '2026 MAMA AWARDS' at the end of the year.
