A 23-year-old song is still on the chart: 10 songs over five years old in the Bugs weekly top 100

We checked the release date of every one of the 100 songs on the Bugs weekly chart for September 21 to 27. Thirty-seven came out this year, 21 last year and 19 in 2024. But 13 songs more than five years old were still there too. The oldest came out in 2003, and DAY6 alone has six songs among the 100. We picked ten of those 13, oldest first.

2003 · Lim Hyun Jung '사랑은 봄비처럼... 이별은 겨울비처럼' ('Love is like spring rain... parting is like winter rain')

A song from the March 2003 album 'A Year Out..In The Island'. A song from 23 and a half years ago is still in the top 100 in the last week of September 2026. It has the earliest release date of anything on this chart. Apple Music

Released on October 17, 2013. A song from nearly 13 years ago sits in the weekly top 100. Apple Music

2015 · DAY6 'Congratulations'

DAY6's debut song, released on September 7, 2015 with the debut album 'The Day'. The band marked its 11th debut anniversary two weeks before this weekly chart was counted. Apple Music

2017 · DAY6 '예뻤어' ('You Were Beautiful')

Released in February 2017 as the February song of 'Every DAY6', the project that put out a new song every month. Nine years and seven months have passed since its release. Apple Music

2018 · Paul Kim '모든 날, 모든 순간' ('Every Day, Every Moment')

Released on March 20, 2018 as Part 3 of the OST for the drama 'Should We Kiss First?'. The drama ended long ago, but the song is still here. Apple Music
