At 6 p.m. today, PARK WOO JIN releases a second EP, 'SOLSTICE'. It's the first album since signing an exclusive contract with Para Music in June, and the first new release in a year and five months, since the single album 'Cool & Hot' in April last year. PARK WOO JIN placed sixth on Mnet's 'Produce 101 Season 2' in 2017 to debut in Wanna One, and from May 2019 was AB6IX's main dancer and rapper. AB6IX has been taking a break since its May concerts (per the agency's April announcement). We picked six songs and noted where PARK WOO JIN's name sits in the credits of each. You can see the path widen from dancing to writing. Credits follow Bugs, and scene times follow the official music videos.

2019 · AB6IX 'BREATHE'

The title track of AB6IX's debut EP, 'B:COMPLETE'. It's deep house about youth that wants to break free of every constraint and breathe freely, with a second meaning about fine dust layered in. PARK WOO JIN is among the lyricists, and the album credits list PARK WOO JIN as choreographer alongside Choi Young-jun. At 3:29 in the music video, five people stand side by side in a dark tunnel facing its bright exit, and at 3:37 the 'BREATHE' logo rises over the tunnel. Apple Music

2020 · 'COLOR EYE'

PARK WOO JIN's song on '5NALLY', AB6IX's digital EP with one solo song per member. It was PARK WOO JIN's first solo song, and the Bugs credits read 'Produced by 박우진, 리시'. It's trap hip-hop over a heavy 808 bass and dreamy synths, with lyrics that paint beauty in many colors. At 0:32 in the music video, PARK WOO JIN dances alone in front of a wall of dots in all sizes and colors, and at 0:39 the backdrop turns into a black-and-white striped circle. Apple Music

2021 · AB6IX 'STAY YOUNG'

The title track of the repackage of AB6IX's third EP; its Korean title, '불시착', means "crash landing." Go back through the composition credits of AB6IX title tracks on Bugs one by one, and this is the first with PARK WOO JIN's name on it, written and composed with GDLO and Kim Hae-ron of MonoTree. The agency said at the time that PARK WOO JIN also took part in making the choreography. Like the song note, "the destination of a youth that dares is something like a crash landing," the music video shows the four, in cream knit sweaters, walking through a ruined town under gray clouds from 2:47. At 3:01 a single white tulip stands upright above one member's open palm, and at 3:13 fireworks burst over a neon amusement-park street. Apple Music

2023 · 'Top Tier'

The title track of PARK WOO JIN's solo debut EP, 'oWn'. The agency announced it as the first solo debut among AB6IX's members. It's a song of confident rapping over a repeating lead sound and a heavy 808 bass, with rapper Minos as co-lyricist. The album credits list PARK WOO JIN as music producer, with lyric credits on all five tracks. At 1:20 in the music video, 'KO' flashes on a fighting-game screen, 'YOU WIN' overlays PARK WOO JIN's face at 1:23, and at 1:25 the arcade turns into a room with a golden throne. The lead photo is from 1:29, on that throne. Apple Music

2025 · 'Cool & Hot (feat. HA SUNG WOON)'

The title track of the first single album, featuring HA SUNG WOON, a fellow former Wanna One member. It's a funky retro-groove beat topped with rhythm guitar and brass. PARK WOO JIN took part in writing and composing, and the album credits list PARK WOO JIN as music producer alongside Rhymer. The agency said PARK WOO JIN's taste shaped everything from song selection to visual direction. At 1:10 in the music video, PARK WOO JIN sits in the cyan-lit driver's seat of a black car, steps out into a red-lit parking lot at 1:12, and at 1:25 the scene switches to a daytime group dance under a bridge with red girders. Apple Music

2026 · AB6IX 'BOTTOMS UP'

The title track of 'SEVEN : CRIMSON HORIZON', AB6IX's third full album, released in March this year. The album notes say every member took part as a producer, and PARK WOO JIN wrote this song's lyrics with LEE DAE HWI. It's a pop-rock dance track whose chorus is driven by slap bass, about how dancing and singing joyfully on stage, whatever the outcome, is what feels most like the group. The music video opens by peeking through a keyhole into a messy room, and at 0:04 puffy white 'BOTTOMS UP' letters pop up over the living room. At 1:26 the group dances in a sunlit gym under a wooden arched roof. Apple Music

October 13 'SOLSTICE'

A solstice is the moment the sun reaches its farthest point of the year and the seasons turn. The agency explained that the title carries the idea of building on the time so far and moving toward new possibilities along a self-chosen path. Four songs have been announced. The title track, 'STAMINA', is tech house, followed by 'SYNCOPATION', the R&B song '돌아와' ("come back") and 'C-119 (feat. TWLV)'. According to the on-screen credits in the highlight medley released on October 5, PARK WOO JIN wrote lyrics for three songs: 'STAMINA', 'SYNCOPATION' and '돌아와'. PARK WOO JIN is the sole lyricist on '돌아와' and also has a composition credit on it. The agency said vocals take a bigger share this time, alongside rap and performance. A comeback showcase follows at 8 p.m., two hours after the release.
