It even shows the 'Confetti cleanup': eight things you missed in ONEW's 'Illusion' video
In the last 20 seconds before the song ends, crew members appear one by one with captions like 'Industrial fan' and 'Fog alert', showing how each effect was made. The conversation in parentheses at 1:04 ends on '(…??)', and at 1:57 the sound and picture cut out together for 0.3 seconds.

The video for 'Illusion' (착각), which ONEW released on the 20th, turns the film set itself into the stage. Camera screens, shooting monitors and people in 'STAFF' T-shirts keep slipping into the picture throughout the song, and at the end it even shows the hands that made the effects. ONEW's earlier songs are laid out in the October 20 primer, and the release news is in the October 21 news briefing. Here are eight things that are easy to miss on a rewatch. Times follow the official music video (3:00).
0:00 · Nine 'REC' screens
The song opens with no intro, straight on 'One time, say that you want it'. For the first six seconds the picture is split into nine camera screens, each marked 'REC' with a running timecode, and there are no drums or bass yet. Both come in together at 0:06, and at 0:08 the picture moves to a set dressed up as a city street.
0:29 · When the drums drop, the shooting monitor
At 0:29, on 'No way 하나만 해' (no way, just pick one), the drums and bass drop out together. For the six seconds when only the voice and synths remain, the screen shows ONEW on a shooting monitor (0:30, 0:33), the co-star getting a makeup touch-up, and crew in front of the monitor, one after another. When the drums return at 0:36 with 'Tell me what took you so long', the dance with the dancers in white begins.
1:04 · A conversation in parentheses
At 1:04, the subtitle '(이대로 괜찮을까요?)' (Is this okay as it is?) appears on the co-star's shot. ONEW's shots answer with '(네. 너무 잘 나오는 거 같아요!)' (Yes, it's looking great!) at 1:06 and '(그러면 남은 촬영도 즐겁게!)' (Then let's enjoy the rest of the shoot!) at 1:08, and at 1:10, back on the co-star's shot, there is only '(…??)'. The exchange happens without sound, only in subtitles inside parentheses, while the song sings '뭔가 좀 들킨 듯한 Face' (a face that looks like it got caught) at 1:07.
1:14 · Dancing with the crew
Once 'No way 하나만 해' passes at 1:13, the drums and bass drop out again. At 1:14 ONEW, wearing an earphone, looks up, and from 1:16 dances behind the set with crew members in black T-shirts with 'STAFF' printed on the back. The drums come back at 1:19, and at 1:20 the picture switches to the stage with the dancers in white.
1:50 · The purple city is a studio wall
From 1:44 the two stand in front of a purple city at night. When the camera pulls far back at 1:50, that city turns out to hang on a studio wall next to a daytime city backdrop, surrounded by crew. At 1:51 the picture rushes toward ONEW as confetti pours down, and at that same moment the drums and bass drop out. That's the scene in the lead photo.
1:57 · A 0.3-second blackout
At 1:57.4, the sound and the picture cut out together for 0.3 seconds. Then 'Tell me what took you so long' starts on the voice alone, and the drums return at 1:58. The picture moves to a figure in a gray hoodie and a board covered in photos. In the shots that cut in from 2:00, the lower left corner carries file names like 'ONEW_0002C001_261020.MOV'. 261020 is October 20, 2026, the day the song came out.
2:16 · The hands behind the effects, eight scenes
From 2:16 the picture becomes a playback screen titled '261020_ONEW'. English captions appear one at a time, each showing the crew member who made that effect. 'Industrial fan' (2:16) shows someone holding a yellow industrial fan, 'Back light moving' (2:22) someone moving a light, and 'Fog alert' (2:32) someone holding a red canister. With 'Step on the light switch', 'Confetti cleanup', 'Tumbling', 'Spakling water bomb' and 'Throwing the mic', there are eight in all. Each caption is followed right away by the scene that used the effect. After 'Throwing the mic', ONEW sings into a mic at 2:31, and after 'Fog alert', the group dances in fog at 2:33.
2:35 · 22 seconds of an emptied set
The backing ends at 2:35. For the next 22 seconds, the camera holds still on the set from far away after everyone has cleared out. One person wanders in front of the purple city backdrop, then sits down at the table holding pink flowers. At 2:58 the Griffin Entertainment logo appears. Apple Music
According to the Bugs credits, the lyrics are by ONEW and 방혜현 (Bang Hye-hyun), the music by ditch david, ONEW, WILJAM, Ninos Hanna and Hautboi Rich, and the arrangement by ditch david. The song runs 2 minutes 37 seconds.
