Setting it in early August looks like a way of stepping around the week before. Comebacks and debuts stacked across July 29 to 31, and landing in the same window means covering each other; stepping one week aside means attention isn't split.

The title being 'SWEAT'

The single is named after sweat. It's an intuitive word for a summer release, and yet it reads a little differently.

The words usually attached to summer songs are on the cooling side — water, sea, wind. Sweat is the opposite. It isn't escaping the heat; it's staying inside it.

Three versions

The physical album comes as Heat, Burn and a Poca album. Read as names, the first two are heat and burning. The vocabulary of the title carries all the way into the version names.

A Poca album is a photocard-centred format — one of the directions physical albums have split into over the past few years. Releasing a keepsake edition and a collector's edition separately is close to the default now.
