A teaser with a version name on it

The teaser is labeled 'Bish ver.' The song title is three words, which means the two words left over could each bring a teaser of their own.

This is a common move. Split a teaser into several pieces and you get several release days, and on each of them the song title gets said one more time. Instead of packing everything into the day of release, you spread it out across a week.

What's different here is that the title had already drawn the dividing lines. 'Bish bash bosh' is British slang for something finished in one clean sweep, and the three syllables only complete that meaning when they sit together as one lump. Taking them apart one at a time was the order that got chosen.

What happened three days ago

On August 11, RBW announced a reorganization of its label system, and with it that oversight of OH MY GIRL's planning, production and management was moving from WM Entertainment to DSP Media. We covered that news too.

That announcement said the back half of the year would be filled with members' solo work, and MIMI's single is the first thing to come of it. With three days between the announcement and the teaser, it's fair to read this single as something already in the works before the reorganization.

So it is both 'the first release since operations changed hands' and 'a release that was already being made before the change'. What the reorganization actually changed isn't something this single can tell you.

What's still ahead

The full-group comeback has been pushed to the first half of 2027. It was originally set for the first half of 2026, and a notice in June gave the album's production process running long as the reason.

Which leaves the members' individual work as the only thing to look for in the back half of this year. MIMI goes first, and there are six days to go until release.
