A ballpark as a stage
A show at a ballpark runs on different conditions than a show at a concert venue. The people in the seats didn't come for the music. It's a stage set in front of a crowd that came to watch baseball.
So the standard for building a setlist shifts. A song that catches someone hearing it for the first time does more work than a song the fans already love. Three of the five titles being 'Ice Cream', 'Vanilla' and 'GGUM (껌)' doesn't look like a coincidence. They're all things you put in your mouth, and they're short to say and easy to repeat.
The sound conditions differ too. A ballpark is a space where sound spreads out, so the low end smears. An arrangement that came through cleanly indoors doesn't necessarily carry the same way.
Why the first pitch comes first
The first pitch came before the stage. That order matters.
Throwing a pitch has nothing to do with music, but it makes the name get said out loud once. The announcer says it, the screen finds the face, the crowd gets one look — and then the stage starts. It's a procedure for attaching a name to a face for people seeing the artist for the first time.
That's why this order gets used so often in overseas markets. A sports stadium is one of the few places where people who aren't music listeners gather at that scale.

The group will appear at the 2026 Global Citizen Festival, held in New York's Central Park in the US on September 26. TOMORROW X TOGETHER is the only Korean act on the lineup announced this year.
Someone who heard the name for the first time at a ballpark runs into it again a month later in Central Park. Read it as a sequence of building up contact points inside the US and it comes into focus.
