Starting and ending in the same city

This tour began in Seoul this April. It travelled abroad after that, and returns to the KSPO DOME roughly seven months later.

Closing a tour where it started isn't the usual choice. The final show typically goes to a new market or the biggest city on the route.

Coming back to the same room aims at something else: letting the people who saw the first show see the last one, and making seven months of change measurable in the same space.

There's a full stop in the title

The tour is called 'EXhOrizon [dot]'. The word sits at the end in square brackets.

A dot is a point. Placed at the end of a sentence it becomes a full stop. Attached to a tour's encore, it reads as a mark that this is where the sentence ends.

The pairing with 'horizon' is worth noting too. A horizon is a line, and a point is a line's smallest unit — so what was spread wide gets gathered into a single point and closed.

Why three nights

The encore runs three nights rather than one.

Splitting the same show across three days lowers the audience per night but raises the total. It's what a group does when it knows the last show draws a crowd.

Three-night runs also tend to shift a little from day to day. Even with the same setlist, the final night can't be the same as the others.

Before you go

The shows are in early November, still more than two months away. Ticketing runs through Melon Ticket, with the official fan club EXO-L presale opening first.

KSPO DOME is a seated venue, so shoes matter less here. Olympic Park does involve a walk from the station, though, so leave time.

Early November in Seoul is properly cold at night. Given when the show lets out, an outer layer is the right call.
