A name with an exclamation mark

The title is 'Gulliver!' — a person's name followed by an exclamation mark.

A name alone refers; add an exclamation mark and it calls. It stops pointing at a person called Gulliver and becomes the act of calling him.

Calling also means the subject isn't here. You don't call someone standing beside you. There's distance inside this title.

A story about size being relative

Gulliver's Travels is a novel about size. In Lilliput he's a giant; in Brobdingnag he's a dwarf.

What matters is that Gulliver himself doesn't change. Same height, same body — the surroundings shift and the size follows.
