The Artist's Name Is a Song Title, and That Song Comes Third
Yuyoung's full live session is up. Four songs run back to back.

In three lines
- Yuyoung's full live session is up. Four songs run back to back.
- The order is 'I'll Be by Your Side', 'Sprout', 'Swim' and 'If I'.
- The third song's title is the artist's own name.

The order of the four
| No. | Song |
|---|---|
| 1 | I'll Be by Your Side |
| 2 | Sprout |
| 3 | Swim (Yuyoung) |
| 4 | If I |
Placing one's own name third
The third song is titled 'Yuyoung' — the same as the singer's name.
Using your own name as a song title is uncommon; the song becomes a self-introduction. And Yuyoung put it not first but third.
The listener hears two songs before hearing the name. Rather than leading with the introduction, the songs come first and the name later.
A name about water
'Yuyoung' means to swim beneath the surface. In the artist's own words, Yuyoung makes and sings music that swims through the heart.
Of the song with the same name Yuyoung wrote that each person carries their own sea, and when they meet a fishbowl forms — in the fishbowl of Earth in the universe, of the sea on Earth, of the heart between us.
A fishbowl is a small sea. A large thing placed inside a small one. The name and the song point the same way.
It ends on a conditional
The last song is 'If I'. An unfinished sentence.
Start with 'if' and something has to follow. But the title stops at 'I'. A condition with no result.
Yuyoung describes it as a song about finding the moment to stop even while still in love. The session ends on a sentence that does not end.
Today, like this
Play the four in order. The point where the name arrives, in third place, is the first thing to watch for.
Then play 'Sprout' and 'Swim' back to back. Growing and swimming — both titles about movement.
Last, think about what might follow 'If I'. That is the space the title left empty.
A new song has arrived at the playground today.
