Why they left the indoors

The concert started in 2022. Sung Si-kyung invites musicians senior and junior to him and sings with them; in 2023 and 2024 it took place at KSPO Dome in September.

This year the venue changed. According to Sports Kyunghyang, the organisers said that "this year, for the first time, on an outdoor stage". What used to happen in a dome moved onto a lawn.

Outdoors, sound scatters. In exchange, the audience sits on ground rather than in seats. The height gap between stage and floor narrows, and the one singing and the ones listening end up on the same ground.

What was said after the first night

After the first night, Kim Jang-hoon wrote on his own social media: "Sung Si-kyung's 'Well, Today' ended so beautifully. Seniors and juniors gathered and made one more unforgettable memory." Star News carried the post.

Sung Si-kyung wrote on his own account too. "Were you happy? I'll do well tomorrow as well. Please get home safely."

That 'tomorrow' is today. The second night starts at 6pm.

How nine people are arranged

The cast spans generations. Yang Hee-eun and Kim Kwang-jin, Lee Jae-hoon and Won Mi-yeon, Kim Jang-hoon and Gummy, and Kwon Jin-ah. The Indonesian singer Raisa is in the lineup too — she and Sung Si-kyung released the duet 'Heaven Knows' this June.

The heart of a joint concert is who sings with whom. The organisers promised "a special collaboration you cannot easily find anywhere else". Which pairings come up can only be known on the stage.

Before you go

The show is tonight at 6pm. The 88 Lawn is inside Olympic Park, a walk from Olympic Park Station on Line 5 or Mongchontoseong Station on Line 8.

It is a lawn show, so bring something to sit on. Early-September evenings are windy.
