The title is a job

The title track is called 'Guitarist'. Not a person's name, not the name of a feeling, but the name of someone who plays an instrument.

The one singing named his own song after the one playing something else. According to Viva100, the song casts the guitar as a speaker delivering emotion in someone's place. Herald Muse introduced it as "a song that likens the flutter and connection between two people to guitar playing".

The structure is that the guitar says what the singing cannot. That is why the title names the player rather than the singer.
