Two Minutes With No Low End, Then 2:51
Four songs Kim Sae-yan left at the playground. The first one runs a long while with the floor empty.

A new song has arrived at the playground today. This time it's Kim Sae-yan.

"A singer-songwriter travelling the violet deep sea inside us," says the introduction. The artist worked under the name Se2 before changing it to Kim Sae-yan, and keeps going in indie and pop.
The Floor Is Empty for Two Minutes
The first song, 'Greenu Blueme', goes quiet for about a second and a half at 0:47 and starts at 0:48.6.
The level climbs from −41.9dB to −20.4dB there, but the low-end share is only 6.5%. The mids are at 48.8%. It briefly reaches 21.8% at 0:55, then falls back to 0.4% by 1:01.
The voice comes in after about a minute. Measure the median pitch and 49–60 seconds sits at 116Hz and 60–75 seconds at 105Hz, while the stretch after 2:50 is at 313Hz. The low one is the backing, the high one the singing.
And then 2:51.75. The low-end share goes from 1% to 28%, then up to 37–39%. That's where the floor arrives.
Two minutes into the song before the bottom fills. Until then it runs on mids alone. Kim Sae-yan's own introduction mentions a "violet deep sea" — and for two minutes this song stays in the shallows.
All Four Songs Are Here
| Song | Starts at |
|---|---|
| Opening | 0:00 |
| Greenu Blueme | 0:47 |
| Lullaby for Hozzi | 5:43 |
| Dear my Island | 9:38 |
| I Wish They'd Use It as an OST | 13:41 |
The titles are lovely. 'Lullaby for Hozzi' is a lullaby for someone, and the last one turns a wish into a title outright.
After the final song, between 15:15 and 17:00, the low end rises and falls repeatedly — around 15:52, 15:57, 16:13, 16:37 and 16:51. Far more often than in the first three songs. That may be why the set is ordered the way it is.
When to Listen
On earphones, at night. The first two minutes of the opening song have no low end, so on a speaker it just reads as a quiet song. On earphones you feel the ground arrive at 2:51.
If 17 minutes 47 is a lot, take the first song's five minutes. 2:51 is inside them.
