Four songs at the keys, and the last one has the widest range
Four songs singer-songwriter JANG HEEWON sang with a band at a midsummer playground. The singer is NONOL LIVE's 38th musician.

A new song has arrived at the playground today. It's JANG HEEWON.

NONOL LIVE's 38th musician, JANG HEEWON, sings at the keyboard, joined by acoustic guitar, bass and electronic drums. The first line of the video description reads, "Autumn is near, but it was a lunchtime with sunlight blazing like summer." Sunlight pours onto a playground with a green floor. The video went up in September 2023.
Four songs
- 0:00 'Pyeonji (편지)'
- 4:10 'Mundeuk, Haengbok (문득, 행복)'
- 8:20 'Nappeun Sangsang (나쁜 상상)'
- 12:51 'Ireoke-kkaji (이렇게까지)'
I love the long note attached to 'Mundeuk, Haengbok.' On the day JANG HEEWON got dumped by a first love, the weather was far too nice, and as the singer stared blankly at the sky, a wind blew in from behind. "I was unhappy, and yet happy." The song was written as soon as the singer got home.
The first song is the heaviest
The amount of low end changes from song to song. The moments when sound below 150 Hz goes over 30% of the whole take up about 19% of the first song, 'Pyeonji,' but only 1% of the last, 'Ireoke-kkaji.' Hz (hertz) is how many times the air vibrates per second, and below 150 Hz is where the bass and kick drum live.
The loudest moment is in 'Mundeuk, Haengbok'
The loudest sound of the set is at 6:11, inside 'Mundeuk, Haengbok.' The song sung most quietly is 'Nappeun Sangsang.' And the last song, 'Ireoke-kkaji,' has the widest range: its quiet side and loud side sit nearly 27 dB apart. dB (decibels) is the unit of loudness, and a 10 dB difference sounds roughly twice as loud. It's the song with the biggest gap between the softly sung parts and the parts that burst out.
At midday, with the window open
It's a video full of midsummer lunchtime sun, so it suits a bright day with the window open. If you're short on time, start at 4:10 with 'Mundeuk, Haengbok.' At 6:11 comes the loudest sound of the set.
