Wet hair on purpose for the rain songs: four songs Tasty Shop sang at the playground
A song the bassist wrote after watching the singer act cool about a breakup, 'Je T'aime' sung under an open umbrella on a sunny day, and a song written while watching a plane land on a rainy day without an umbrella.

Tasty Shop, a band that puts everyday stories into jazz-based melodies, took the playground in summer 2023 as NONOL's 37th musician. It was a hot morning just after the rainy season, and since they'd prepared a lot of rain-related songs, the singer came out with wet hair, on purpose. "Does the wet look suit me?"
0:00 '게으른 새는 꿈을 꾼다네' ('Dreams, The lazy bird')
A song about a 'lazy bird' who'd rather swim a little longer in dreams than get up early to catch the worm. It swells most around 1:30, where 'how long will I keep saying "not yet"' comes round again. The song was also released as 'NONOL VOL 33' in March 2024. Apple Music
3:40 '네 생각이 나를 괴롭히지는 못하는 것 같아요' ('I don't think thoughts of you can hurt me')
Written by bassist Jiho. The singer explains that after a breakup they kept acting cool and insisting everything was fine, and Jiho found that so funny it became a comic, witty song. The chorus that talks in circles, 'thinking, thinking / thinking that you're thinking of me', rings out loudest around 6:46. The singer says it hits home every time.
8:26 'Je T'aime' (original by Hey)
Calling it the song that comes to mind first on a rainy day, they reworked Hey's 'Je T'aime' in Tasty Shop colors. Even on a blazing sunny day, the singer holds up a clear umbrella with a cherry print the whole time. Beside the singer, a double bass holds the song up. It rises highest at 9:49, on 'I hope this happy feeling never changes'.
13:00 '비가 와도 비행기는 뜨고' ('Boarding on the Rain')
The closer came out in June 2023, and the singer introduces it as a song they had "released recently". On a gloomy day the singer stood in the rain without an umbrella while everyone else hurried off to buy one, and a plane touched down as if nothing were wrong. The song holds the feeling that "the world goes on just fine, even with my gloom". The loudest point of the song is around 15:28, as they sing the title one last time. Apple Music
Exactly a year ago today, on October 3, 2025, Tasty Shop released the full-length album 'Edges of Twenty' ('스물의 모서리'), and in August they put out the single 'PADO'. As of October 1 the video had about 27,000 views. If the long weekend takes you to an airport, try the last song at the boarding gate.
