Named 'autumn' for the favorite season: four songs Shim Ga ul sang at a forest playground strewn with leaves
Sung Si-kyung's 'Every Moment of You' in the original's B-flat major, and 'Why back then', unreleased at the time and later 'NONOL VOL 20'. Only for the last song does a keyboard take the seat beside the singer.

Autumn is the singer's favorite season, so the stage name became the family name plus 'Gaeul', Korean for autumn. This is Shim Ga ul, who sings acoustic ballads. The playground video, shot as the 23rd musician of NONOL LIVE, went up in March 2023. The setting was a dense pine forest in front of a wooden playhouse and slide, with last autumn's fallen leaves still covering the ground. Dressed in a black coat, Shim Ga ul sat on a single seat and sang four songs. Two of them hadn't been released yet at the time.
0:00 '후회' ('Regret')
A single released in March 2019. After the song, Shim Ga ul introduced it by saying, "Everyone goes through breakups and a lot of pain while loving," describing a song about the regret of not having done better while in love. The video description says the aim was to convey, through the voice, a complicated feeling that is sad yet calm about the breakup itself. Apple Music
3:49 '너의 모든 순간' ('Every Moment of You')
Sung Si-kyung's song from the drama 'My Love from the Star' soundtrack. In the description, Shim Ga ul calls it the favorite among songs by Sung Si-kyung, an artist the singer looks up to, and a model of the kind of lyrics the singer wants to write. Measured side by side with the original music video, Shim Ga ul sang it in the same key as the original, B-flat major (the key built on the piano's B-flat). The pace is almost the same as well, around 70 beats a minute. It's a cover that keeps the original's pitch instead of moving the key.
8:17 '니가 좋아하던 걸 기억해' ('I remember you liked it')
Before singing, Shim Ga ul introduced it as "an unreleased song that isn't out on my own album yet." It's about remembering, one by one, the good moments of someone long gone whenever the season that person loved comes around. It came out as a single on May 29, 2023, two months after this video went up. Apple Music
12:59 '왜 그땐' ('Why back then')
Only before the last song does a keyboardist in a beige coat take the seat next to Shim Ga ul. It's the first time an instrument appears on screen after three songs without one. Shim Ga ul introduced this one as unreleased too, and admitted to being very nervous since it was the first time filming for such a big YouTube channel. It's a song about belatedly aching over time whose value went unnoticed while in love, and it was officially released on September 21 that year as 'NONOL VOL 20'. A song first sung at the playground carried on into NONOL's own release series. Apple Music
In October that year came the single '좋은 이별이 어디 있나요' ('There is no good farewell'). Now that the season has turned back to autumn, start with 'I remember you liked it', sung on the fallen leaves.
