Strapping on a bass for the last song at the rabbit playground: four songs from heyseunghey

Singer-songwriter heyseunghey was the 34th musician on NONOL Live. Until then, the stage name was '승혜' (Seunghey); according to the video description, this video marked the official switch to 'heyseunghey', the name already used on social media. It was filmed on a cloudless summer morning at the "rabbit playground" in Gwangnaru Hangang Park, where giant rabbit ears rise above the play structure and cyclists pass through the park next door. heyseunghey sang four songs with a band, and the drums and lineup change from song to song.

The first track of heyseunghey's first release. The NONOL version comes with a band intro, so up to 0:44 there's only playing, with drums. But once the singing starts, the drums drop out, and they return only from the second chorus at 2:00. After the song, heyseunghey explained wanting to make music that says, "even when spring is gone, when the rain falls, when people blame you, I'll be standing there when you look back," and so wanting this song to come first on any album. A song on the EP '경험담' ('Experiences'), released in March 2022. Introducing it, heyseunghey pointed out that the title ends with a heart (♥). It's about a memory of trying as hard as possible to love someone and later wondering whether that was really love. The description says heyseunghey wanted to capture it in a NONOL video because some listeners love this song.

A song on the single 'keep youth', released in September 2022. Hating to waste time being hurt by cold people, and realizing that today is the youngest day of the rest of life, heyseunghey wrote it to protect those days. A camcorder sits on a table on the playground (10:45), and heyseunghey explained that it's the very camcorder used as a prop in this song's music video.

Introducing the last song, heyseunghey called it "a new song being released through NONOL." It came from feeling down that everyone else seemed to be pulling their weight while heyseunghey wasn't, then turning that around: my voice, my expressions, my gestures belong only to me, so accepting and enjoying myself might be the best way of pulling my weight. Before singing, heyseunghey promised "a fun challenge," and on this song heyseunghey sings while playing a white bass. The band changes too, swapping the drums for a cajón (a box-shaped percussion instrument you sit on and play) and two acoustic guitars.
