Lined up side by side, the titles show their character. A state of mind, much better, brainwash, took. They point at conditions or actions, and not one of them names an emotion directly.
In R&B that feels natural. It is a genre that works feeling out inside the song rather than declaring it in the title.
Short titles are also easier to perform. Introducing a song on stage takes one word, so the gap between announcement and playing shrinks. Across a continuous set, that brevity breaks the flow less.
What it means to sing R&B at the playground
NONOL LIVE keeps the stage and the audience close. With a band, that closeness arrives as pressure in the sound; with R&B it works differently.
The core of R&B is not hitting a note squarely but how you let it slide. The stretch between two pitches, the moment the beat gets nudged a fraction late. At close range, those small adjustments come through intact.
The near-absence of editing matters a great deal here too. Wobbles that a studio would smooth out simply stay. In R&B, that wobble is closer to content than to a flaw.
Listening to four songs in sequence
Being the full version, nothing is cut between songs. In this session that turns out to matter.
An R&B set runs at a slightly different temperature from song to song, and that difference shows in the few seconds between them. You can hear how the breathing shifts as one song hands over to the next. In a trimmed clip that information disappears.
That the last title is 'Took' also stands out. The set ends on a single word in the past tense. Put a statement about having taken something at the end, and the whole session seems to converge on that point.

Try this session with the volume a little lower. Play R&B loud and the fine adjustments smear together. Small and attentive is the right setting.
If you have earphones, use them. Breath and the tails of consonants, hard to catch on speakers, are part of the content in this genre.
Meeting an artist for the first time across four songs is a good amount. One song leaves only an impression, ten wear you out, but four are enough to tell whether this is for you.
