The titles are even in length

All four titles run two or three syllables in Korean — eongteori, goseong, seomgwang, yeokgwang.

Set titles of similar length side by side and the list looks ordered. One long one would stick out; keep them even and the four read as a single bundle.

Part of that is because they were chosen from one album. Songs written in the same stretch tend to share the grain of their titles.

Two words about light

The third song is 'Flash' and the fourth is 'Backlight'. Both contain light.

A flash is light that appears briefly; backlight comes from behind the subject. One is a word about time, the other about direction.

Placed consecutively, light gets handled twice in different ways. Once as an instant, once as a position.

An order that opens with botched

The first song is 'Botched' — a word for something that did not come out right.

Opening a session with that word is uncommon. The first song is usually given the job of opening a door.

The arrangement starts in the negative and ends in light. From botched through shouting to flash and backlight. The order itself draws a direction.
