Finishing promotions and ending are different things.

Domestic music-show promotion is usually fixed at two weeks. When those two weeks pass the stages disappear, but the songs remain. Where to take the remaining songs is the next question. NEXZ chose South America.

Where do you go when the two weeks end

The fourth mini album 'SAUCIN'' came out on August 24. They promoted the title track on music shows for two weeks, and that schedule has ended.

Usually this is where preparation for the next album begins. NEXZ got on a plane instead. On September 11 they play Rock in Rio in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Rock in Rio is a large festival that began in 1985. K-pop groups appearing there have become more common in recent years, but a group in its second year opening the event is not ordinary.

A lap around South America

Rock in Rio is not the only stop. Within September they also play the STRAYCITY festivals in Colombia, Argentina and Mexico.

Not performing in one country and coming home, but going once around a continent. Two weeks of music shows and a month in South America are joined end to end.

In October their first Asia tour 'SAUCIN' THE WORLD' begins in Seoul, on the 17th and 18th. Around South America, then back to Seoul to open a tour.

The video from two days ago

On September 8 the music video for the B-side 'UPGRADE' was released — a B-side, not the title track.

Putting out a B-side video as promotions wind down is a way of extending an album's life. Two weeks on the title track, then one more door opened with another song.

The video holds the seven members' group choreography — showing on a screen what they will show on a stage.

Tonight, like this

Play 'SAUCIN'' and 'UPGRADE' back to back first. How the title track and the B-side differ is the first thing to check.

Then watch the choreography in the 'UPGRADE' video. Judge whether it is choreography that works on a festival stage.

Last, remember October 17. What a group that has toured South America brings back to Seoul is something that day will tell you.

Where a two-week promotion ended, a lap around a continent begins.
