Four different sources

A live session's setlist usually runs one way. You pick from your own album, or lean on recent songs.

Rosanna's four songs come from entirely different places. The first is her debut song, the second a drama OST, the third a song by a singer she loves, the fourth a song prepared for this session.

Laid out this way, each song does a different job. The debut song shows where she started, the OST shows the work, the cover shows the taste, the last shows the present. A résumé turned into songs.

An artist who starts from her own name

'Rosanna' means an apricot-pink rose. It is the name she chose when she debuted.

Before debuting she worked for years as a jazz vocalist and appeared on television programmes including duet contests and 'Hidden Singer'. She describes herself as an artist who moves between pop, powerful ballads and emotional OSTs.

The third song, 'Across the Universe', is Baek Yerin's. She said it is a song she loves dearly. The one song among four that is not hers is the place where taste sits.

She was the first guest

This session is NONOL LIVE's very first episode. The crew wrote that they searched playgrounds near Hongdae and chose Neuti Children's Park in Yeonnam-dong as the first location.

It was a clear autumn morning, they wrote. Once the performance started, people nearby came out one by one to listen, and many asked when they could see it.

The first episode of a series is made before the form is settled. So this video holds a record of how NONOL LIVE's shape began.
