8 new songs this week: from MINZY to Woody and BORA
We picked eight from the new songs released September 28 to October 1, with one spot to listen for first in each.

Eight new songs the NONOL editors kept going back to this week, from among those released over four days, September 28 to October 1. They're in order of release, not a ranking. For each song we've noted one spot to listen for. All timestamps follow the official videos.
MINZY 'Calling'
Released on September 28, it's MINZY's first solo single in about four years and nine months, since '기깔나' in December 2021. A voice gathered in the middle of your head in the first verse spreads out to the edges of both ears when the choir arrives at 1:58. The difference is even bigger on earphones. The story of measuring that width is in the NONOL PICK on October 2. Apple Music
ONEW and YUJU 'Mind Games'
Released on September 29, it's the first title track from ONEW's first single album '착각'. An R&B song the two sing as if trading lines over a single guitar, and at 0:20 the guitar lets go for 1.7 seconds, leaving only the voices. The rest of the single album comes out over the course of October. You can read more in the NONOL PICK on October 1. Apple Music
WOOAH 'VOODOO DOLL'
A digital single released on September 29, it's the fourth song in the 'Wish With W' series. From 2:02 the sound shrinks right down for four seconds, then bursts at its loudest in the whole song on the last chorus at 2:08. It's the song we covered in this morning's NONOL PICK. Apple Music
Parc Jae Jung '계절의 끝' ('Epilogue')
The title track of the EP '기록 (上)' ('Records (A-Side)'), released on September 29. A ballad running 5 minutes 30 seconds, the whole song rises a half step at 3:40, and at 4:51 the drums and bass drop out at once. Tomorrow at 11 a.m., the NONOL PICK follows this song all the way to the end. Apple Music
CLOSE YOUR EYES 'Drop That!'
The title track of the fourth mini album '256th Note', released on September 30. From 0:12, a bass phrase from '이 밤을 즐겁게' ('Enjoy This Night'), sung by Yoon Si-nae in 1979, runs underneath, five half steps lower and 1.22 times faster. How it lines up with the original is laid out in our hidden details. Apple Music
CRAVITY 'LOUDER'
The title track of the ninth mini album 'sonorous', released on September 30. From 0:08 only the voices lie low, then at 0:16 the sound swells all at once, and from there it barely lets go of that loudness until the end. The music video with the winged horse is covered in our hidden details. Apple Music
TIOT 'Five Hours in Pieces'
The title track of the fifth mini album 'Time for Us', released at 6 p.m. on October 1. The label introduced it as a dance track built on hard rock. It opens on a single guitar riff, and even after the drums and bass join at 0:06, the voice only arrives at 0:21. That's 20 seconds without singing. The story of the five child actors in the music video continues tomorrow at 1 p.m. in our hidden details.
Woody and BORA 'Period'
A duet single released at 6 p.m. the same day; Woody took part in composing it, and Woody and BORA wrote the lyrics together. The moment the chorus ends on '마침표를 찍어' ('I put a period on it'), the drums and bass catch their breath, and on the last chorus they never come back. That evening on M Countdown, the two stood on stage together with this song for the first time. We'll listen to it again in the NONOL PICK on October 5.
