Before the drop at 40 seconds, the bass comes and goes five times

It's the title track of their 12th EP, 'FIRST LIGHT : 井.' Five members: Seoho, Leedo, Keonhee, Hwanwoong and Xion. The first line of the album introduction reads, "finally, a full-group album." Five songs, 14 minutes 3 seconds.

From 25 to 40 seconds, the bass keeps popping in and out

For the first 25 seconds there's almost no low end. The sound below 150 Hz is only 2 to 3% of the whole. Hz (hertz) is how many times the air vibrates per second, and below 150 Hz is where the bass and kick drum live. Instead there's plenty of high end, so it sounds light and sparkly.

From 25 seconds, the fun starts! The bass comes in and drops out, comes in and drops out again: at 25, 28, 32, 36.5 and 38.5 seconds. Five times in 15 seconds. Then at 40 seconds the bass finally settles in and the sound steps up a level. That's the very spot the album introduction calls a "powerful drop sound."

The second verse does the same. From 1:40, for 15 seconds, the bass drops out and comes back again before it bursts.

2:40, the brightest moment

For 15 seconds from 2:30, the low end drops away again and the high end climbs to 40% of the whole sound. That's the range where cymbal hiss, breath and 's' sounds live. It's the brightest, lightest moment of the song, and at 2:45 it fills back up.
