LUCY sang 'Stay' for the drama 'A love other than yours.' It flows on violin and piano before the band joins in.

It's the second soundtrack song for the drama 'A love other than yours,' starring Seo Kang-joon and Ahn Eun-jin, a drama about the unfamiliar feelings a couple faces ten years into their relationship. LUCY's main vocalist Choi Sang-yeop sings it. The first soundtrack song was by Sondia.
Violin and piano, then the band
According to the album introduction, violin and piano flow lyrically before drums, bass and guitar join in with force. When I measured it, that order comes through exactly!
In the music video, from 30 seconds the sound sinks for 20 seconds. The low end almost drops out: the sound below 150 Hz is only 2 to 3% of the whole. Hz (hertz) is how many times the air vibrates per second, and below 150 Hz is where the bass and kick drum live.
Then, at 50 seconds, that share jumps from 3% to 14% as the band comes in, and the sound steps up a level. The loudest point is at 1:25.
The person behind the song
Lyrics, music and arrangement by Jay Lee, a producer who has worked on songs for Red Velvet, Chungha and Super Junior, among others. Jay Lee also played piano, bass and drums and arranged the strings, with Kim Jin-hyung on guitar. Mastering is by Kwon Nam-woo of 821 SOUND, the same hands that shaped Kim Yong Bin's 'Only you' and SOOSOJIN's 'RAIN,' which we covered this week.

Just give it a listen, trust me. Just the 30 seconds from 0:30 to 1:00. The sinking and the band coming in are all in there. It's even better at night, right after an episode of the drama.
