Love typed as 'JKL MNO TUV DE': four songs Uyeon sang with a red balloon at a dinosaur playground

In the description, Uyeon introduces Uyeon as a musician who melts into music a slightly different kind of imagination, the kind that blooms out of everyday life. As the 42nd musician on NONOL LIVE, Uyeon stood at the sandy playground of Jangan Children's Park in Bundang, where a giant green dinosaur stands. According to the description, Uyeon came carrying a red balloon, just like the title of the first song, and Uyeon is alone on screen. After the first song, Uyeon said it had been a really long time since visiting a playground, and that as a student, after evening self-study at school, Uyeon would skip going straight home, sit on a swing at a nearby playground, look at the moon and write lyrics before heading back. Times follow the full version of the video on the NONOL channel.

0:00 Red Balloon

Uyeon introduced this one as '발매한 지 아직 한 달이 채 안 된 따끈따끈한 신곡' ("a piping-hot new song, not even a month since release"). The single came out on August 28, 2023. The bass comes in at 0:07 and drops out at 2:12, then, past the bridge '너무 빠르면 / 도망가니까 / 속도를 맞춰서' ("if you're too fast / I'll run away / so match my pace"), returns at 2:37, right before the second 'Take my red balloon'. That leaves 25 seconds without it. The music is by Uyeon and Jeong Won-bo, and the arrangement by Jeong Won-bo (Bugs).

4:37 Actuallymymomisalien

A 2020 song Uyeon introduced as '제 곡 중에 정말 많은 사랑을 받고 있는' ("one of my songs that gets a whole lot of love"). Put the title into Korean and it becomes '엄마는 외계인' ("Mom is an alien"), a name familiar in Korea from a chocolate ice cream, and the Bugs introduction also describes it as a song that 'conveys a flutter of excitement through a sweet, beloved ice cream'. The drums and bass only fill out twice, for 26.5 seconds each, from 5:04.5 and from 5:58.5. The video title spells it 'Actuallymymisalien', but the description and the released track both read 'Actuallymymomisalien'.

7:31 스위터 (SWEETER)

The title track of the 2022 single 'LOVE POPCORN', and a song Uyeon always sings at shows. Uyeon said it's sung just to hear the audience, who follow along really well on the 'baby' in the 'SWEET SWEETER Ooh baby' part. With no audience in front that day, Uyeon asked viewers to sing along while watching the video. The drums and bass only fill out in the two choruses, starting at 8:01 and 8:55.

10:53 Someday We'll Remember the Day

The last song, which Uyeon introduced as one set to be released with NONOL. Rather than explaining it, Uyeon said the hope was that listeners would each recall a precious memory or a warm moment from the past. At 11:26 comes 'And I typed L.o.v.e. U so much', and after the bridge line 'We sing along to that song with our own melody', at 12:11 Uyeon picks up a megaphone to sing '그 시간을 담은 필름 사진처럼' ("like a film photo holding that time"). From 12:55 the drums and bass drop out and 'JKL / MNO / TUV / DE' follows. These are the letters you pass through on an old phone keypad when typing L, O, V, E: press 5 three times and you go through J and K to reach L; press 6 and you go through M and N to O; 8 goes through T and U to V; and 3 goes through D to E. It came out 196 days later, on May 22, 2024, as 'NONOL VOL 38'. The lyrics are by Uyeon, the music by Uyeon and Jeong Won-bo, and the arrangement by Jeong Won-bo (Bugs). Apple Music

Other stages at the same Jangan Children's Park playground are younglong and HolyBear, and according to the description, the last musician here was Jeong young ji.
