'그대라서' (YOU), written at the piano, became a NONOL VOL 210 days later: Yoo Jiwoo's four songs at a playground in forsythia bloom

Yoo Jiwoo debuted in 2015 with the piano piece 'First' and went on to become a singer-songwriter. Yoo Jiwoo played the 27th NONOL LIVE stage at the playground of Yongma Falls Park in Myeonmok-dong. It was the second stage in this park, following summer, featured on October 21. In a blue floral dress, Yoo Jiwoo sang four songs with a single microphone beside a yellow slide, with yellow forsythia spilling across the front of the frame. In the first greeting, Yoo Jiwoo said it was lovely to meet everyone in a place that felt like going back to childhood. The times for each song follow the video on the NONOL channel.

0:00 전하고 싶어 (I Want to Tell You)

At the time, this was Yoo Jiwoo's most recent single. It holds the frustrated, aching feeling of something you want to tell someone but can't. The singing starts at 0:15, and at 0:53 comes '내 모든 표현을 담아 너에게 전하고 싶어' ("I want to tell you, with everything I can express"). Isolate the drums alone, and there are no drums anywhere in this song.

An unreleased original, sung for the first time that day. One quiet, lonely night, Yoo Jiwoo sat down at the piano and wrote it while recalling old memories. Before singing, Yoo Jiwoo said there was a hope that if the song got a lot of love, it might lead to a release someday. The accompaniment has neither drums nor bass. The wish came true. 9:29 Let's Dance

Yoo Jiwoo introduced it as a song written out of wanting to dance with people, spring being Yoo Jiwoo's favorite season. Yoo Jiwoo also asked people watching the video to stir up their 'inner groove' and enjoy it together. In this song, the drums come in for the first time at 9:46. After the song, Yoo Jiwoo laughed about seeming to be the only one getting carried away.

14:10 Color

Yoo Jiwoo introduced this as a signature song; it comes from the 'Color' project that began in April 2022. Yoo Jiwoo said the lyric people love most is 'people are beautiful when they love,' and that very part, '사람은 사랑할 때 아름다워요' ("people are beautiful when they love"), arrives at 15:06.
