On one of the tracks, DINO is credited as a featured artist. The person who made the character has walked into that character's song as a guest.
It reads like a joke, but structurally it is a clear declaration. It says the alter ego will be treated not as another side of DINO but as a separate artist. Featuring, after all, is something you do for someone else.
Holding that premise all the way into the album credits is not easy. Somewhere along the line you usually revert to the real name. This album handled that moment by making it a feature credit instead.
The title 'Party Rock Rock'
The Korean title is phrased as an invitation — let's go and play.
Production came from Hitchhiker, who has worked in electronic music for a long time. The character of the song sits where the character's tone meets the producer's history.
The album title '吉BOARD' works the same way. It welds a Chinese character to the alphabet, and read aloud it turns into a familiar word. A joke made in earnest.
Discovery note
Rather than leaving this one on in the background, watch it with the visuals. The whole project is built around the character, so sound alone delivers only half of it.
There is a point where judgment splits when you listen to an alter-ego project. If the premise runs ahead of the music, you laugh once and move on; if the music can carry the premise, you keep listening. That verdict tends to land not on the first track but around the third.
So don't close it after the title track. Two more songs in, and you'll see which kind this one is.
